Hello, and welcome.

I began my Occupational Therapy career in an outpatient clinic before transitioning into a school setting.

Working in schools gave me the opportunity to build stronger connections with students, teachers, families, and the wider school community. Those relationships continue to shape how I think about useful, realistic resources.

Outpatient beginnings

My career began in an outpatient clinic, where I started building my experience as an Occupational Therapist.

Moving into schools

Moving into school-based Occupational Therapy gave me more opportunities to work alongside students, teachers, families, and the school community.

More than nine years of experience

Across both settings, I have learned to value collaboration, clear ideas, and tools that adults can use within the flow of a busy day.

What guides my work

Useful ideas begin with real life.

I want each resource to feel clear, encouraging, and manageable for the adults using it. School schedules can be full and unpredictable, so materials need to make sense in the setting where they will actually be used.

Adults should be able to understand an idea, share it, and return to it during a busy day.

Approachable tools can give teachers, families, and school professionals a helpful place to begin a conversation.

Why Sensory SpOT was created

A place to share what works in the real world.

I created Sensory SpOT to share sensory activities and information that adults can understand, adapt, and use with care.

My goal is to make helpful ideas easier to bring into classrooms, homes, and familiar parts of the day. These resources offer educational information and activities, not individualized Occupational Therapy or medical advice.
